Mobile Web-based Applications Development

Students learn to develop Web-based mobile applications using markup and scripting languages for mobile applications, form handling and validation, database connectivity, sessions, and AJAX. Course includes 6 weeks of lecture slides, 7 labs, and 2 assignments. The labs enable students to gain hands-on experience in developing various Web-based mobile applications using multiple tools, and give students the foundation needed to complete the two assignments on designing and developing a conference registration and online submission system. Students will also learn about BlackBerry Widgets (supported by BlackBerry OS 5.0)
